Acreage at the crossroads
Todd Mission sits at FM 1774 and TX 105 in southeastern Grimes County, a few minutes from Plantersville and about half an hour from Magnolia. The Texas Renaissance Festival grounds anchor it, and the land around runs to pine and hardwood.
We build custom and semi-custom homes on acreage throughout the area, and The Cedars is just up the road in Plantersville if you would rather start with a developed homesite.
What Building In Todd Mission Involves
Permitting, utilities, and ground conditions differ from one place to the next. These are the questions we answer before design begins, so there are no surprises later.
Homesites are on an on-site sewage facility permitted through Grimes County plus a water well or rural water supply connection. Both get scoped before the foundation is designed.
Traffic on FM 1774 changes substantially during the fall festival run. Construction schedules and delivery windows here plan around those weekends rather than fight them.
The canopy is what draws people out here. We mark keep trees before clearing and protect root zones during construction.
